Information We Collect

• Account information (name, email) when you register
• Store URL you provide for analysis
• Usage data (pages visited, features used) via analytics
• Payment information processed securely via Stripe (we never store card details)
• Google Analytics report data, only if you choose to connect your GA4 property (see the Google User Data section below)

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the D2C Champion analysis and growth playbook service
• To send strategy emails and product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To improve our AI models and platform (using aggregated, anonymized data)

Google User Data (Google Analytics Connection)

D2C Champion offers an optional integration that lets you connect your Google Analytics 4 property so the platform can interpret your own traffic and revenue data. Connecting Google Analytics is entirely optional — every other feature works without it.

What we access

We request a single read-only scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly. We never request write access and cannot create, modify, or delete anything in your Google account or Analytics property. From the property you select we read aggregate report data only: sessions, users, new users, engagement rate, bounce rate, average session duration, transactions, revenue, conversion rate, average order value, and breakdowns by traffic channel, device category, landing page, and product name. We do not access individual user-level records, personally identifiable information about your customers, Google Ads data, or any other Google service.

How we use it

These aggregate metrics are used solely to generate and display your growth analysis. To produce that written analysis, the aggregate metrics are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to any other party beyond the AI processing described here.

D2C Champion's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How it is stored and secured

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before being written to our database, and are used only to retrieve the report data described above. Report data is stored as aggregate snapshots so you can see how your metrics change over time. Access is scoped to your account.

Revoking access and deletion

You can disconnect Google Analytics at any time from the Growth Tracking section of your dashboard. When you disconnect, we immediately revoke our token with Google, delete the stored tokens, and permanently delete the analytics snapshots retrieved from your property. Deleting your D2C Champion account removes this data as well. You may also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices. Your store analysis data is stored in encrypted databases. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
